CAT
QA/DI-34 Qs, LR/DI-32 Qs, VA/LR-34 Qs. Each section has 1 hour time limit. Few questions are expected to be non Multiple choice questions, for which there will not be negative marking.
Online
You do not need to apply separately to the IIMs. However, for any other institute using CAT scorecard, application will need to be submitted separately.
XAT
Paper I: VA – 28; Decision Making – 23; QA & DI – 33, General Awareness – 30, Paper II – Essay. 1 Mark per question, 1/4 negative marking, total duration 180 mins ( 140 & 40 minutes for both papers ),
PP
The performance in paper-2 and General Awareness is not used for shortlisting of candidates for the GDPI round.
SNAP
180 Questions – 40 each in VA, QA & DI, and GA, 60 in LR.
PP
A separate application needs to be submitted for each B-school accepting SNAP scorecard.
IIFT
118 Questions – VA ( 20 ) , RC (17), LA (20), DI (15), GA (26), QA (20) to be answered in 120 min Differential marking scheme. Marks per question – 0.50 for GA, 0.75 for VA, RC & LA, 1 for QA & DI). Total 100 Marks.
PP
A common shortlist of candidates is released for both the Delhi and the Kolkata campuses.
CMAT
100 Questions – 25 each in QA & DI, LR, VA and GA.
Online
For the 2014 season, there was no GDPI for state level b-schools of Maharashtra for which the selection process is done by DTE Maharashtra. Candidates were offered seats on the basis of the performance in the written tests only.
NMAT
LA – 32 Q in 22 min; QA – 48 Q in 60 min; LR – 40 Q in 38 min
Online
A candidate can write the test up to three times within the test window. The best of the three scores would be used for shortlisting candidates for GDPI by NMIMS.
TISSNET
100 questions –Maths and LR- 35 Qs, Eng-30 Qs, GA-35 Qs in 100 min. No negative marking.
Both
TISS has adopted a unified test for all its programmes since 2012. The performance in the GK section was a key determinant of the overall score.
MICAT
Paper I: Part I- Questions related reasoning and general awareness. Part II- The candidates are given a topic and they have to write for, against and then their stand on the topic. The next question in this section is that of story writing on the basis of a given picture. Paper II: Psychometric Test.
PP
The shortlisting of candidates is based on the performance in both CAT and MICAT.
MAT
200 Questions – VA (40), QA (40), LR (40), DI/DS (40), GA (40)
Both
Although the paper has a section on "India and Global Environment (GK)", the scorecard is based only on the first 4 sections of the paper.
IBSAT
100 Questions in QA, LR and VA – to be answered in 120 min

All the candiadates appearing for the written test are shortlisted for GDPI. The final allocation of Institute is based on the performance in both the written test and the GDPI stage.
