The question is based on the information given below.

A team is to be selected among seven persons – A through G – under the following constraints.

(i) If A is selected, then D must not be selected.
(ii) D and E must not be selected together.
(iii) At most one of E and F can be selected.
(iv) If B is not selected, then C must be selected.

Which of the following can never be true?

(A) If F is not selected, even then a team of five can be selected.
(B) If E is selected, then a team of four can be selected.
(C) To select a team of four, D must always be there.
(D) Exactly two of the above can never be true.

    (1) At most one among A and D can be selected.
    (2) At most one among D and E can be selected.
    (3) At most one among E and F can be selected.
    ==> At most two among A,D,E and F can be selected.
    (4) Both B and C can be selected together.

    From the above discussion, we can say that choice (C) can never be true.
